Michael Stanford was born in Sacramento in 1968.  Interested in art since childhood he went to San Jose State to study Industrial Design.
Michael lives in Cool, California and owns an Art Business with a major focus on Mural painting.  Recently, he completed the historic sesquicentennial mural for the City of Folsom.
He most recently completed  Rick's Uptown Market located at 17th and Capital, in Sacramento.  This is a mural which brings back the history of the corner outdoor market, commissioned by the Midtown Murals Project. 
Michael Stanford enjoys other specialties including Faux Finishes and original designs for businesses as well as custom signs and visual displays.

Marty Stanley is a native of the Sacramento delta.  His passion for the arts began at an early age. Without formal training at age 19 he made a commitment to pursue his passion for art.  For the first 5 years of his career his schedule was filled primarily with commissions and producing his first series of limited edition silk screen prints.  In the spring of 1988, Marty opened the Levee Gallery in Ryde.  His native Delta landscape became the focus of his inspiration.  In the ensuing years, Stanley established himself as one of the foremost painters of the Delta.  His abilities have earned him the respect of numerous private and corporate collectors.  With a growing demand for his work, Stanley began publishing his work in limited editions.  The artists challenges continue today, with new originals, prints and other projects on the horizon.  To view his paintings in person, visit the Levee Gallery in Ryde, Ca.  The gallery is located next to the Ryde Hotel on Highway 160, 3 miles south of Walnut Grove, along the banks of the Sacramento River.
