The Midtown Murals Project Goes WWW Wild.
The Midtown Murals Project has been gathering momentum of late and is about to announce
their inaugural mural project. But other activities has also been occupying the project
office says, James Cooper, the murals project director.
"On October 1st, the Midtown Murals Project launches its own Web Site.
The primary objectives of the new web presence, is to keep community and business
supporters current on the murals progress, fund raising activities and to hale tribute to
our program sponsors." Foxys Classy Fashions and Accessories, located at 2728 J
STREET in Midtown donated the site. Barbara Royer, owner of Foxys stated
"Midtown is coming of age and Im proud to be behind this worthwhile
venture". Foxys first established a presence in Midtown in 1993 moving from a
small jewelry business located in the Radisson Hotel. "My business has been growing
because of the Midtown location, serene tree-lined streets and strolling shoppers, find my
shop and keep coming back", said Royer.
Many other sponsors are also responsible for the Midtown Murals Project success. The
Sacramento News and Review, Paragarys, Micrografix, US Rentals, Art Ellis and many
more are all highlighted on the new Web Site. In addition, information about the inaugural
artist, sponsor program benefits recent news and press announcements.
Michael DeWid, the designer of the site will be adding many new features in the coming
months. "We will be increasing the sponsors presence and offer advertising",
Cooper said.
